Short answer

  • Dubai Shopping Festival's 32nd edition is confirmed for 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027.
  • Festival of Lights runs 2 to 12 November, and Eid Al Etihad 30 November to 3 December 2026.
  • A new 10-day Electronics Festival is reported for April 2027, with no exact dates.
  • White Friday, the 3-Day Super Sale and most 2027 events haven't been dated in anything we could read.

The next big confirmed sale event in Dubai is the Dubai Shopping Festival, from 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027. Before it, the Festival of Lights runs until 12 November and Eid Al Etihad runs from 30 November to 3 December. Almost everything else on the 2027 calendar has no date we could confirm, so we mark it "not announced" rather than guess.

The live version of this table is on the sales calendar, which we update as dates are announced.

Dates we could confirm

Event Dates Source
Festival of Lights (Diwali) 2 to 12 November 2026 Dubai Media Office, 25 Nov 2025
Eid Al Etihad 30 November to 3 December 2026 Dubai Media Office, 25 Nov 2025
Dubai Shopping Festival, 32nd edition 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027 TradeArabia, 14 Oct 2026; Emirates 24

Dubai Shopping Festival is reported as a 45-day run, organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment. In October, the organisers said the full programme would follow the next month, so expect more detail soon.

The month-long Dubai Fitness Challenge (31 October to 29 November 2026) is also in the retail calendar, but it isn't a sale, so we've left it out of the table.

Open now, but not a sale

Global Village's Season 31 opened on 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027, according to TradeArabia. It isn't a sale, but many visitors shop there, so it's on our shopping areas list. We don't have a source on refund rules at its pavilions, so ask before you buy and keep your receipt.

When each date was announced

A date's age tells you something about how far to trust it, and when to look for news.

Item When it was reported Source
2026 retail calendar 25 November 2025 Dubai Media Office
2026-27 calendar and Electronics Festival 28 July 2026 Emirates 24
Dubai Shopping Festival dates 14 October 2026 TradeArabia
Dubai Home Festival 19 October 2026, for dates already running Focus by hiDubai

As that last row shows, some events are reported only once they're under way. So "not announced" can change at short notice.

Dates we know only by month

Electronics Festival. Emirates 24|7 reported in July 2026 that a new 10-day Electronics Festival is on the 2026-27 calendar for April 2027. It gave no exact dates. If you're planning a large electronics purchase around it, check back in the new year.

Not announced when we checked

We looked for dated sources on 5 November 2026 and found none for the following.

Event What we found
White Friday / Black Friday 2026 No 2026 dates. A Bayut page names the month only
3-Day Super Sale, late-2026 edition The calendar says twice a year, without dates
The Great Online Sale Described as a three-day, online-only event, with no date
Chinese New Year in Dubai 2027 No 2027 calendar found
Ramadan and Eid in Dubai 2027 Moon-dependent, and no calendar found
3-Day Super Sale, 2027 Nothing found
Eid Al Adha sales 2027 Moon-dependent, and nothing found
Dubai Summer Surprises 2027 Nothing found
Back-to-school campaigns 2027 Nothing found
Dubai Home Festival 2027 The 2026 edition ended on 1 November

Two things might change this quickly. Last year's retail calendar came out on 25 November 2025, so a 2027 calendar could appear within weeks. And we couldn't read one government release on the 2026-27 calendar, so a fuller list may already exist. We re-check whenever we update this page.

Why we don't estimate

Plenty of pages list exact dates for these events. Some are from travel agents or visa sites, and some mix tentative or moon-dependent dates into one long list without marking them.

Take the 3-Day Super Sale. Its late-2025 edition ran from 28 November to 2 December 2025, according to Arabian Business, with 500+ brands, 2,000 stores and reductions of up to 90%. It's tempting to project that onto 2026, especially with Eid Al Etihad at the same time of year. But nobody has announced it in anything we could read, so we're not saying it will happen then.

If a date on another site doesn't name a source, treat it as a guess.

What the headline discounts mean

Organisers publish "up to" figures: up to 90% for the 3-Day Super Sale and up to 95% for The Great Online Sale, according to the Dubai Media Office. These tell you the deepest reduction somewhere in the event, not what you'll get on the item you want.

So when a sale starts:

  • Read the tag. Dubai retailers must display the original price, the discounted price and the percentage. A percentage alone isn't enough. See how to check a discount.
  • Note the price beforehand. A photo of the tag from a week or two before a sale gives you something to compare with.
  • Ask about returns. Sale items may be treated differently, so check the refund position before you pay.
  • Keep the receipt. Your rights on faulty goods don't end because something was on sale, and a complaint needs a receipt.

Planning for each kind of shopper

Visiting for Dubai Shopping Festival. If you're a tourist, work out what you'd get back on VAT before you count on it. It's less than 5%.

Buying gold. Gulf News expected 6 November to be the busiest evening at the Gold Souk this Diwali. The part to compare between shops is the making charge. Read what to check on the invoice.

Buying furniture. The Dubai Home Festival ended on 1 November, and orders placed during it may be arriving now. If a delivery is late or wrong, start with your rights.

Running a small shop. If you plan to take part in any of these events, check what you'd need to show on your tags, and confirm any permit with the Department of Economy and Tourism. There's more in what the price tag must show.

How to use this page

  1. Check the sales calendar for the latest status.
  2. Treat "confirmed" as firm, but look at the organiser's own announcement before you book anything.
  3. Treat "month only" as a planning hint.
  4. Treat "not announced" as just that.

We aren't connected to the organisers of these events, and we don't sell tickets, offers or vouchers. Be careful of any site that does while using an event's name. Dubai Police warned in September 2026 about fake Global Village VIP-pack sites, for instance.

What to check before you act

  • Has the organiser confirmed the date since we last checked?
  • Are you booking travel around a date that's only "month only" or "not announced"? Wait if you can.
  • Does the "up to" figure apply to what you want to buy?
  • What's the shop's return policy on sale items?
  • Are you buying through the shop's or organiser's real website?

Questions people ask

When is Dubai Shopping Festival 2026-27?

The 32nd edition is confirmed for 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027, a 45-day run organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, according to TradeArabia in October 2026.

When is White Friday in Dubai in 2026?

We found no announced 2026 dates when we checked on 5 November 2026. One property blog names the month only. We'll add dates when a dated source appears.

When is the next 3-Day Super Sale?

The retail calendar says it runs twice a year but gives no dates. The late-2025 edition ran 28 November to 2 December 2025, which is not a forecast for 2026.

Are discounts of up to 90% real?

That's the headline figure organisers have used for some events. It doesn't tell you the discount on a given item, so read the tag. Dubai retailers must show the original price, discounted price and percentage.
